Periodically we host project swaps where people committ to playing along - are partnered up with another member and then make a goodie basket of knitted lovelies for their partner.

January-March: Scarf Exchange [Sandi] - Knit or crochet a scarf, your choice of pattern, and send some sweet treats. No other "extras" to be included. Please alert the coordinator if you live in a warm climate and wish a decorative scarf. Keep in mind that a heavy parcel will cost more in postage.

Some ideas of items to send include, but are not limited to: Washcloths, please send at least three [3], dishtowels [2], placemats and coasters, hot pads & potholders, cup cozies [4] & tea cozy, pillow covers, lapghan, rug, decorative items for the home like baskets, flowers, doilies, caddies of any kind, or play food for display on countertops. Earmuffs, mittens, gloves, socks, slippers, fingerless mittens, leg warmers. Let's get creative... How about a bookcover with bookmark? A hat and a scarf or cowl. Pair up an eyeglass case with a needlecase and IPod cover. A shrug has [2] sleeves. Can you think of any other pairs, of a personal nature, to make? No "extras" included in this parcel. October-December: Felted Bag Exchange [Mary] - Knit or crochet a felted bag, your choice of pattern. Keep the "extras" to a dollar amount of $5-$8 USD [use your exchange rate]. Please alert the coordinator if you do not wish to receive a parcel with a Christmasy theme. Remember that you need to use 100% wool to felt.
